£20000 to £22000 per annum


CMD Recrutment Ltd is supporting a leading National Training provider with a  vacancy for a Hair and Barbering Assessoe In the Miadtone region of  Kent

The role will require some travel around the Kent region so a drivers  license and own vehicle is advantageous and all business mileage is reimbursed


As an assessor you will work with a caseload on average of  35 - 40 learners but can vary dependant on sector, with the  foremost focus being on the  learners, their progress and their timely achievement. Trainer Assessors are expected to source a proportion of their own learners to shape a localised caseload, whilst also being supported by a motivated, energetic and engaging sales team.


This is a work based learning role and so you will visit learners in the workplace.

This provider uses e-portfolio so you can manage the learner journey remotely, which creates a robust tracking system. You will be  provided with all the tools for you to do this successfully.

You will work remotely and you will form part of a regional learner achievement team . They have a passion for education and are dedicated to helping others develop their skills and fulfil their potential. 

The teams meet on a monthly basis to share best practice, link with other inspiring team members and are structured to support you and provide you with the best opportunity to succeed.


Knowledge skills & experience

The ideal candidate will have

  • Assessment Qualification (TAQA/A1/D32/33)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Hair or Barbering; or equivalent
  • Ability to demonstrate sector experience
  • Functional Skills Level 1 (Mathematics, English & ICT) or equivalent 
  • Previous experience of working remotely 
  • IT competent with working knowledge of Microsoft Office including spreadsheets
