Trainee Rail Surveyor
Job Title: Trainee Rail Surveyor, also interested in Lead Rail Surveyors Location: Working across England and Wales, you will need to visit sites in either Sevenoaks, Kent or Leeds Salary / Benefits: £24,000 - £26,000, dependent upon experience plus Company Van and Benefits Start Date: August 2017 Company Information: Working with one of the UK's fastest growing surveying services company. with over over 20 years' experience working within the rail industry. Looking for candidates who have some experience of surveying and wish to work and train with us, to learn to be rail surveyors. To be suitable for the position you must have; - More than 2 years surveying exposure - Some knowledge of Total Stations, GPS systems and Laser Scanners - Some knowledge and experience of AutoCAD software - A current PTS qualification - A desire to learn and work on railway projects and become a fully qualified surveyor Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you are; - Degree Qualified Role Information; - Implementing work instructions, including safety standards - Carrying out site surveys, as per works instructions - Post-processing of survey data in AutoCAD and other software packages - Duties will mainly be carried out overnight and shifts will vary between 4 / 5 per week, with some weekend working required.
