About the Digital Design & User Experience Manager role: The Digital Design & UX Manager leads a team and is responsible for keeping the site updated with new product information and improving online conversion through development and optimisation of the digital customer experience, creating & driving a digital MVT/AB test programme, balancing the speed of the website with functionality and driving projects. This will require the individual to see the world through our customer’s eyes to improve processes and Saga’s presentation of this online. The successful candidate will need to work closely with teams across the travel organisation and provide leadership in progressing our online experience. As product owner for the site, the Digital Design & UX Manager will prioritise optimisation resource as well as lead functional change. For bigger investments, this will require business case development and sell-in to stakeholders to secure resources. Key responsibilities as our Digital Design & User Experience Manager: - Provide the vision for the Saga Travel online experience, using customer and competitor insight to define goals, priorities and solutions. - Work closely with commercial partners including other parts of the customer experience to deliver a omni-channel customer experience - Take ownership of the digital conversion performance for Saga Travel, delivering the targets for Holidays and Cruise - Take action on the insight provided to continually reduce pain points resulting in drop off - Respond to trading priorities by making necessary adjustments to the online experience - Customer journey optimisation on-site (and app where relevant) - Create a robust MVT/AB testing plan support journey optimisation - Work closely with the Group and other business unit digital functions to share/adopt best practice, incorporate corporate guidelines, facilitate cross-sell and create a joined-up brand experience - Create the content strategy for travel online to deliver content paths which will attract first time buyers and repeat buyers into the top funnel. - Partner with PMs, developers, researchers and content partners to oversee the user experience from conception until launch - Work closely with the Digital Performance Manager & Travel marketing managers/Heads of Dept to support SEO requirements and ensuring campaigns are delivered on the site Experience and skills required of our Digital Design & User Experience Manager: - Team leadership experience - Digital Product Owner experience in a highly commercial environment, such as retail, financial services or travel - UX design principles and practice - User research - Usability testing - User needs analysis - Ideally educated to degree level (or equivalent) - Holds a professional design/UX qualification or with significant experience leading UX function in a commercial environment - Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills to bring their team and other teams along on the journey So if you would like to join our team as our new our Digital Design & User Experience Manager then please click ‘ apply ’ today, we’d love to hear from you This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/75126112
