Position - Payroll and Accounts Clerk
Start Date - Immediate
Hours - Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm
Temp - 3/6 months
Pay - £9 - £14 depending on experience
I have a progressive company in Tunbridge Wells looking for a Temp Payroll and Accounts clerk. This role will mainly be Payroll but will also include elements of Accounts such as purchase, sales Ledger. The right candidate will have a proven accounts experience and be proficient in Excel as well as all MS office packages.
This is a temporary role for around 3 to 6 months and even has the potential to be a permanent role depending on the company`s movements. The perfect candidate will be proactive, motivated, keen and have a desire to support and develop within the team.
Flexibility will be required over the Christmas period as this is a peak time for the client and business.
Duties & Responsibilities
-Ensure both the weekly and monthly paid employees are paid accurately and on time.
-Comply with statutory requirements on a weekly, monthly and annual basis including statutory deductions, payments, recording and reporting.
-Maintain an accurate database and records of current and past employees including starters, leavers, variations, benefits, time and attendance.
-Reconciliation of agency labour time and attendance data on a daily basis.
-Produce ad-hoc reports, responses and statistics for use by internal departments and functions, together with external bodies.
-Develop good working relationships with employees at all hierarchical levels within the organisation, together with external bodies, in order to provide an accurate, confidential and professional service.
